Ride Leader: Scott

It was 88 miles counting the mistake but we wont go there yet. What started out as a last min notice turned into 8 people and 5 bikes. The day started great with Jesse, April and I. But to my surprise there was Bill Reber the president of the Carolina Riders at the barn yard and Jesse talked him into riding with us. Wow now there are four and before I knew it Ken and Debbie along with Mike and Carol arrived. Boy the pressure is on now for me with 8 people. My second and largest ride to lead.

We hit the road at 12:30 and made our first stop at the Saluda Circle for a 10 min rest then on to Prosperity where a wrong turn added 8 miles to the ride. It didn't bother anyone, we were out riding and having a good time. Our second stop was Chapin for another 10 min rest then on to the Dam Bar and Grill. Being the ride leader I felt bad about making that wrong turn so I bought the first round of whatever the folks wanted to drink. Good thing it was a small group, any larger I wouldn't have done it. We had a late lunch and lots of fellowship. Nice way to spend 4 hours.
