Rider Leaders: Carrie & Mike

Had a great ride to Myrtle Beach Saturday. More global warming (oops, El Nino) put it in the 70's.

Carrie got her oil changed (by Dad G)! We met up with Garrett, Ken & Debbie, Mike & Carol (white Goldwing Mike & Carol) at exit 92 Waffle House. Carrie led the group southeast. We stopped at Sumter Extreme Sports to pick up Craig and Kristina (and parts), then took Hwy 378 to the beach.  

We made friends with another group along the way; trying to help them with a flat (Garrett even carries an air pump!)

As we hadn't eaten since the Waffle House so we headed to lunch at Dick's Last Resort. If you haven't been there, be prepared. The waiters were all rude and abusive, and it shouldn't be any other way. This is a fun place for a group and the food is good too. (Excuse the waiters "French" in the photos.)

After that, it was off to Jamin Leather. Ken bought new chaps, with zippers this time. I got busted for taking pictures. They were afraid I might post them on the Internet or something.

I led the group for the return leg. Still had same 6 bikes and 9 riders when we to Sumter. That was 276 miles with the group.

AND THERE WERE TWO CHAPTER 124 RIDES THAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!
