STAR RIDERS COLUMBIA, SC
CHAPTER #124 Aug 20, 2007
Cajun called the meeting to order and welcomed all the members and guests. Our visitors were Mark Sieciensky, riding a 1999 V-Star, and Denise Culbert on a 2005 VTX.
Andrea announced the T-shirt color choices of black, denim blue, forest green, ice gray and red. We took orders tonight and will also take orders at the September meeting. The prices are $15.00 for short sleeve and $18.00 for long sleeve, regardless of size. We need to order at least 30 to get this price.
Cajun announced that 3 Feed The Children trucks will be in SC. They will be in Myrtle Beach Oct. 6, Florence and Charleston.
Charleston is hosting the national Veteran’s Day Parade and is still asking for flag carriers. Practice will be Nov. 3rd and the parade will be Nov 11th.
Cajun asked everyone to let him know if their membership is up to date.
Carrie announced that she got a job here in Columbia and she and Craig will not be moving.
Bob Groves won the 50/50 again. That is one lucky guy!
Cajun announced that he no longer works at Columbia Powersports. He’s now at BDK (Blue Dragon Koncepts). They do custom paint jobs on motorcycles and watercraft.
Cajun won 3rd place at Star Days in the semi custom category and the paint job was done by BDK.
Cajun will lead the August club ride. Meet up at the Shell station, exit 82 off I-20. Kicks up at 9:30. Watch the message board for destination. Of course when Cajun leads, it’s the journey that counts!
Lea has 124 patches, stickers and pins for sale.
Mike let us know that Deb Ellingson’s father has passed away. Our hearts go out to Deb and her family and Lea led a prayer for them.
The meeting adjourned.
Respectfully Submitted,
Andrea Collum, Secretary
