The Beaufort Chapter has planned a three day ride to raise money for Cancer. The ride starts in Hardeeville. Registration is from 8am to 10:30am for a $20 donation. The total ride will be 700 miles but would like for some of us for at least one day of the ride and give the donation for Cancer. The Beaufort Chapter was here for part of our ride for Cajun last month.
Cajun and Lea thanked everyone who turned out for the ride and the people who organized the ride and sat at the checkpoints.
Since Easter is April 8th this year Vera is collecting Easter Baskets for Sistercare. These innocent children will have a happier Easter knowing that we care for them. Please drop off your Easter baskets at Columbia Power Sports on Two Notch Road by April 6th and Vera will deliver them to Sister care If you can’t deliver to Power Sports give Vera a call and she will meet you somewhere on your side of town.. Vera will also try to find out when the Camp Kemo ride for the children is scheduled this year. We must also decide on how many kids we can send to camp this year. These kids are amazing and have many deformities and anyone who gives them a ride on their special day will be rewarded with great big happy smiles.
Curt reminded everyone that Sat is our sanctioned ride and that he and Sue are going to the Cherry blossom festival in Macon, Ga. Also Bill Reber is leading a ride to Lake Lure and Black Mountain, so this will be our sanctioned ride. Details for both rides will be on the message board.
Lea took the final orders for T-shirts. She also has patches for $5, stickers for $3 and pins for $2.
Treasurer report was given. 50/50 was won by Vera
Cajun reminded everyone to check the calendar on the web site for all upcoming rides
