We are getting ready for our Christmas party to be held here at Murray’s on December 18th at our regular club meeting at 7pm. Our meal will consist of roast beef, ham, mac & cheese, rice & gravy, green beans, corn, veggie plate, banana pudding and chocolate Christmas cake. We discussed several ideas to depict our rides this past year with a Photo Show. Members asked to look for good door prizes. The price is $10 each; the club will absorb any excess. Please bring your money to the November meeting if you plan to attend. The decorating committee will arrange the table arrangements, since Murray’s has graciously provided the decorations.
We still have several pins and stickers available for sale, but more patches will have to be ordered.
I spoke about organizing a poker run with Jim Ballenger to help Cajun with some of his expenses after his bike accident.
Curt talked about the October Southport, NC ride .What a great time was had by all. A photo show is on the message board showing the fun on the beach and the ferry ride. The upcoming Corn Maze run on Oct, 21s t was discussed by Carrie. It will be a daylight ride to the House of Pizza and on to the Haunted Corn Maze at Enoree, S.C. The price is $8 a person. Coffee and snacks can be purchased at the Corn Maze. Mike Griswold is planning a ride in November to Patriot’s Point in Charleston, S.C.
Dana Johnson is working on Key Chips for 124 at the Waffle House so that we can get 10% off. They have trick or treat buttermilk waffles or build-a-meal combos.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:30pm. Happy Halloween!!!
Respectively submitted,
